Don't know who to vote for The Tracks 96.1 Top 100, let us help you out with getting to know country, and the artists involved.

Kane Brown is one of Track's favorites, his diverse range of sound and unique approach to country music sets him apart from the rest.

Kane Brown spent a lot of his childhood on the road, spending most of his youth moving around lots of different schools. Through this, he discovered his love for singing, which lead to him joining the choir. This was the start towards Brown's talent-show journey, joining Lauren Alaina's choir, runner up of the 10th season of American Idol.

Brown grew up listening to country music, however, he became more interested in R&B during his school years. After winning a school talent show singing a country song, he started to go back to his roots and begin to focus on country music.

He then auditioned for both American Idol and X factor inspired by the success of his school friend Lauren Alaina. He was selected by X factor in 2013, however, the producers of the show wanted to put him into a boy band. Brown ended up refusing this and started to do covers of songs on his own, and then posting them online.

He quickly found a loyal following from these cover videos. It was this growing fan base that helped his single, "Don't Go City on Me," go viral upon its release in 2014.

2015 rolled around and so did Kanes debut EP "Closer", it reached the Top Ten of the Billboard Country Albums chart and kickstarted his career. From there Brown has released two full albums and a large selection of EP's. Collaborating with some of the music world's biggest artists, such as Thomas Rhett, John Legend, Nelly, and Khalid.

Kane Brown brings a diverse and unique sound to the country music genre. Infusing some of his R&B influences with his country roots, he is one artist we love.

Here are some of our favorite songs to get you into the music:

1. Heaven

This lovely tune is one of Kane Brown's best. This song put him on the map as a reliable country hitmaker, as it's not hard to fall in love with him after this song. Described as a romantic slow jam the song was aimed at his fiance, which makes it all the more lovely.

2. What Ifs ft. Lauren Alaina

One of Kane's biggest songs, this tune skyrocketed to the top of the charts and went four-times platinum. The performance that he did with Lauren Alaina, his classmate, and friend, was unforgettable at the 2018 ACM Awards. Easily making it on to our list.

3. Homesick

Homesick is a fan favorite from Kane's list of songs. A great story is told within the song about Kane's own experiences about traveling away from home as a young boy. Yet, he dedicates the song to military families, with relatives that are away from home. What's not to like about this song?
