Don't know who to vote for The Tracks 96.1 Top 100, let us help you out with getting to know country, and the artists involved.

Luke Combs is one of the biggest stars in country right now, for his powerful voice and soothing guitar riffs. Combs grew up in Asheville, North Carolina. He has been performing and singing since he was a young boy. While attending A.C. Reynolds High School, Combs played American football and performed with multiple vocal groups. Later going on to study at college, this is where Luke performed his first-ever country music show at the Parthenon Cafe. However, Combs dropped out of college to pursue his musical career.

Combs went on to make his first EP "The Way She Rides" in 2014, later that year he released another EP called "Can I Get An Outlaw". It was on combs third EP that he managed to sign a deal with Sony Music Nashville, re-releasing the EP into his first full album, "This One's For You". It was this album that put combs on the map, with big hits such as "Hurricane", reaching No. 1 on the Country Radio airplay charts. This also skyrocketed the album to the top of the  Billboard Country Albums Chart. Since then Combs has released a second album and has another album scheduled to be released in October of this year. So keep your eyes peeled and ears tuned for Luke Combs, as he is sure to be around the country music scene for some time.

Here are some of our favorite songs to get you into the music:

1. Hurricane

Hurricane is one of our favorite songs on Tracks, as it is the song that put the much loved Combs on the map. With "Hurricane," Combs hit No. 1 right out of the gate, earned multiple chart records, and let people know that there was a new, big voice in country music. The song has since been certified three-times platinum. This song is definitely one of Combs's best and deserves a listen.

2. Beer Never Broke My Heart

A song that truly shows Lukes's colour and fun personality. Another No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, "Beer Never Broke My Heart," is his sixth career single and reflects Combs well. Inspired by the idea of an ice-cold beer, this might be a good one to put on at the next BBQ.

3. Lovin On You

Lovin On You is Luke's latest song and is the love song that we were after. Singing about his extreme love for his fiance, this song just makes you feel good. As the single was a teaser for his new album being released in October, it gives us high hopes for a great new album. Also, here's his brand new music video above!
